Blue Daisies

The work presents a harmonious composition of four stylized daisies, rising on slender, curved stems. The work is characterized by a layered, concentric arrangement of petals, creating the effect of intricate, geometric rosettes. Each flower is composed of rhythmically overlapping circles: from a dark, dotted core, through a circle of black buds, a layer in shades of olive green and muted gold, to outer petals in shades of dove blue and aquamarine.

The entire piece is mounted on a rough, brown kraft paper base, which has been covered entirely with a dense, dotted texture of tiny black and white dots. This technique creates a vibrant, three-dimensional background and gives the work the character of a meditative, artisanal ornament. The work successfully combines the aesthetics of folk design, graphic precision, and contemporary organic abstraction.
